Counselors Needed: apply today
Camp CBI is seeking junior and senior counselors, as well as specialists for this summer's 6-week program from June 10 through July 18. Applicants should have some previous experience and love working with children; we are looking for positive, upbeat, and outgoing staff members. Specialist positions include: sports, music, karate/martial arts, drama, crafts, and nature. If you have a special skill you'd like to share with our campers, please let the Camp Director know. To apply for a position or to find out more about job opportunities, please contact Shelby Apple, Camp Director.
Silent Auction Fundraiser: donations now being accepted
Camp CBI is now accepting donations for it’s Annual Silent Auction which is literally just weeks away -- March 16 during the Purim Carnival. This is the Camp's major fundraiser for scholarships and it’s success ensures that we can continue our policy of enrolling all who want to come regardless of financial wherewithall. Please consider making a gift of an auctionable item, something new or gently used, or a service only you can offer. Not sure what you have to offer, please contact Nancy Whitman (977-5964) to figure it out together.
Camp CBI Scholarships If you would like to make a gift to fund camper scholarships to Camp CBI, please indicate on the memo line of your check "Camp CBI Scholarship," along with any indication of whether your gift is in honor or in memory of someone. The honoree (or their family, in cases of memorial gifts) will be notified that a gift was made.
No child will be turned away due to financial need. A limited number of full and partial scholarships are available. If you have any questions about Camp CBI, or would like scholarship information, please contact Shelby Apple, Camp Director.
Recycle Your Print Cartridges & Cell Phones: Please donate your used inkjet printer cartridges, laser printer cartridges, photocopy machine toner cartridges and old cell phones to Camp CBI. Money raised by the collection will provide scholarship money for the Camp. Not only will you fulfill the mitzvah of Tzedakah by helping a child to go to camp, but you will also fulfill the mitzvah of Tikkun Olam by keeping these items out of landfill! There is a cardboard collection box in the Jefferson St. lobby, just to the right of the entrance door. Please remember that this is an ongoing fundraiser and you can continue to donate these items as they become available. If you have any questions, please contact Nancy Whitman (977-5964)
