The United Jewish Fund of Charlottesville, or UJFC, is happy to announce the availability of a limited number of summer camp scholarships to Jewish camps for the summer of 2011. The UJFC is making available some funds to assist children in the Charlottesville area to attend a Jewish summer camp. Families of children in grades K-11 who would like to attend an overnight Jewish camp, should submit an application directly to the UJFC by February 28, 2011. A portion of the scholarship fund has been set aside for day camp scholarships to Camp CBI. Families interested in scholarships for Camp CBI should apply directly to the camp.

The United Jewish Fund of Charlottesville is a community fund of the local Jewish Community that raises money to support programs in Israel and locally. Through these camp scholarships, the UJFC is pleased to be able to promote Jewish education and the building of positive Jewish identity by supporting summer camp experiences at Jewish camps.
