ARZA

The American Reform Zionist Association is an affiliate of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations dedicated to expressing solidarity between American Jews and the people of Israel. ARZA is particularly concerned with the pursuit of religious pluralism and democracy in Israel. One of its main projects is the Israel Religious Action Center, which is at the cutting edge of promoting changes that further the causes of religious and civil rights for all Israelis, including educational programs and political action to benefit women, minorities, and non-Orthodox Jews.

The CBI ARZA chapter encourages congregants to become members of ARZA and plans to distribute information and sponsor programs on topics related to Zionism, Reform settlements in Israel, the Israel Religious Action Center, and the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism.
